We review the project information and confirm the applicable assessment scope before work begins. Your proposal identifies the BASIX service, any NatHERS modelling required, the documentation to be prepared and the information needed from your design team.
Glazing, insulation, shading and construction choices affect one another. We discuss practical options with you so the assessment supports the design and the build. Share any preferred products or design constraints at the start rather than waiting until the certificate is ready.
The cost depends on the type of project, dwelling count, design complexity and whether thermal modelling is included. Ask for a written total that explains professional fees, GST and any certificate or government charges. We confirm these in your project proposal; a certificate fee alone is not the full assessment price.
